If you’re struggling to decide where best to move your machine to, we can help you map out your workspace to determine the ideal location. This will enable staff to continue using the machine as safely as possible.

Move to disposable coffee cups.

We often promote the convenience of being able to use your own mug or cup with modern day hot drinks machines, but are you cleaning it correctly?

For added peace of mind, we recommend using the disposable cup that your hot drink comes in by default. Disposable cups are stored safely in the vending machine and receive very little contact points prior to being stocked.

This guarantees that they are clean and safe to use. They can then be recycled afterwards.

Contactless payment units.

Many of our customers have requested that they now wish to use contactless payments on their vending machine. This removes the risk of coming into contact with germs that can linger on coins and notes.

Coinadrink uses Nayax for all our cashless payment solutions. In addition to the usual contactless payment options including card and mobile, we can now incorporate the Nayax “Monyx” application onto our equipment. This allows the customer to upload funds to a virtual wallet.

The kettle is an archaic refreshment solution that is unable to provide the necessary level of reassurance in times like this. Using a kettle for your hot drinks has too many touch points to make it a safe, viable option.

It’s obvious when you think about. Just how many amenities do you come into contact with when making your own hot drink? You touch the kettle, the milk, the sugar, the tea bag, cupboards, the fridge, the tap and that is without the washing up at the end.

Distance Select replaces the need for push button or touch-screen panels on vending machines. Instead, the user can obtain their selection remotely, without having to make any contact with the machine.

Vending machines remain a safe entity for the provision of food and drink.

As the UK government relaxes the lockdown procedures in an effort to encourage certain businesses back to the workplace, Coinadrink Limited is doing all we can to make sure our customers feel safe when using vending machines.

Be prepared for a return to the workplace.

There is a good chance that your vending machine or coffee machine has remained unused for a number of weeks or months. We have recently distributed emails to our customers detailing how to correctly clean and sanitise your hot drinks machine or water cooler.

This is not a case of just simply turning it back on before reusing as normal, so it is very important you follow these steps closely. Contact our team on 0800 626 191 if you require additional information.

Social distancing will remain in place when you head back to the workplace. We are helping to encourage this by providing a free social distancing pack to our customers depending on the vending machines they have. If you require additional packs, you can purchase these through our online store for a small fee.

General hygiene with vending machines.

As well as social distancing, together with the AVA we are doing all we can to protect our staff and visitors when they are together on the Coinadrink premises.

The use of PPE such as disposable gloves are welcomed, though not forced. Disposable gloves offer a reassuring layer of protection if used correctly, so we are reminding both staff and visitors to wash their hands beforehand as so not to contaminate the outside of the gloves. When removed, these should also be disposed of appropriately.

Our operators are reminded to also follow the guidelines bespoke to the customer when on their site. We are placing hand sanitiser in company vehicles for added peace of mind.

Staff are politely asked not to come into work if they are ill. We are working to establish who has previously been ill, potentially with the virus, and doing all we can to limit the risk to our entire workforce.

The NHS have advised we must wash our hands for the appropriate amount of time. This is being encouraged on the premises.

Our operators also understand they must wash their hands prior to working on customers vending machines. We are making allowances to ensure they have the time and facilities to wash their hands properly.

Working collaboratively with the AVA, we are making sure our staff and customers are staying safe when using a vending machine in the workplace.

Happy 80th Birthday to Managing Director Roger Williams!

Roger Williams is a local businessman who founded Coinadrink Limited in 1962. Over the years he has contributed massively to both the local industry and to the vending industry worldwide, whilst away from work he is a family man and a big Wolverhampton Wanderers fan!

As he today turns 80, a collection of friends, family, staff, colleagues and some very special guests came together from all over the world to wish Roger many happy returns on his birthday. The video below certainly captures just how respected and admired Roger is to everyone who knows him.
